Local Festival

Only a solo, unaccompanied work is permitted.
Contestants must be recommended from a senior advanced work or National Class, as provided for in the Provincial / Local Festival Syllabus.

Provincial Festival
- maximum time limit to be determined by the provincial association
- Only solo, unaccompanied works are permitted
- two selections consisting of:
- At least two movements of a senior, advanced multi-movements work
- One own choice selection, but not another movement of the above work
National Festival
- maximum time limit of 60 minutes inclusive
- only solo, unaccompanied works are permitted
- two selections consisting of:
- The multi-movement work performed at the Provincial Level; additional movements or the complete work may be performed, depending upon time.
- Own choice selection performed at the Provincial Level. If this selection is a multi- movement work, additional movements or the complete work may be performed depending upon time.
