The Kiwanis Music Festival has been a firm establishment within the greater St. John's area for over 50 years. For many it is the definitive venue for aspiring musicians (young and seasoned) to showcase their talents on a public stage.
This website has been launched as a showcase of that talent - past and present. We hope that you will find something useful and informative through these pages.

A Message from the President of the Kiwanis Music Festival Association of St. John's
It’s been said that music is an international language. The Kiwanis Music Festival of St. John’s has been able to communicate this language throughout the province for many years. We are fortunate to have a dedicated organization that enables the finest musicians to come together to display their talents in a festival atmosphere.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis Music Festival of St, John’s, I am very happy to welcome you to the 59th annual Kiwanis Music Festival. This is by far the largest continually operating cultural event in this province.
We extend a special welcome to all participants, adjudicators, music teachers, parents and friends of the festival.
We are very grateful for the ongoing support of the Provincial Government, The City of St. John’s, Memorial University’s School of Music, Patrons, Advertisers and our Business Community. We are very thankful to our many Volunteers who respond each year to our call to help us fill the over 500 positions needed to run the festival. We would encourage and welcome any others who would like to help by calling our office at 579-1523.
Come visit our website at www.kiwanismusicfestivalsj.org which includes such items as our History, past Rose Bowl Winners, Adjudicators information and daily class schedules and results.
Finally, I want to thank our Board of Directors as well as all Kiwanians and their families and friends for their contribution to ensure the continued success of our festival.
A very special thanks to our office staff, Mary Anne Tobin and Eileen Thistle, for dedication and commitment to the success of our festival.
To all our participants.... Good Luck and Enjoy.
Charles Taylor
President
Kiwanis Music Festival Association of St. John’s
