The Kiwanis Music Festival has been a firm establishment within the greater St. John's area for over 50 years. For many it is the definitive venue for aspiring musicians (young and seasoned) to showcase their talents on a public stage.
This website has been launched as a showcase of that talent - past and present. We hope that you will find something useful and informative through these pages.

A Message from Margaret Wakeham.
President of the Kiwanis Music Festival Association of St. John's
On behalf of the St. Johnís Kiwanis Music Festival 2014, it is my pleasure to extend greetings to our many participants, teachers, supporters, and patrons throughout our region.
For over sixty years the Kiwanis Festival has enhanced the musical culture of our community and showcased the talent of tens of thousands of participants. Our local festival has been the launching pad for careers in performance, composition, teaching, and research in music. Through our own festival, and through our affiliations with provincial and national festivals, our performers have received accolades and awards in recognition of their endeavours. Adjudicators never fail to mention the high quality of teaching and remark on the great level of support our participants receive from families and friends.
Our festival endures because of our collective love of music, and the hard work of staff and volunteers, the fees of participants, the ticket sales to events, and the generosity of financial donors. I am confident that the 2014 St. Johnís Kiwanis Music Festival will bring us once again many unforgettable musical moments.
